How long have you been in business?

More than 30 years ago, Leonard Bornstein had a vision to create family-oriented parties that were both tasteful and fun for everyone. He started working with musicians and DJs who shared his philosophy. This evolved into Leonard Bornstein Entertainments.  LBE developed a reputation as a valuable resource for high-quality, reliable entertainment. Years later, when Caron (the current owner) started working with Lenny, they quickly realized that they shared the same core business values: honesty, integrity, reliability and professionalism. When the time came for Lenny to pursue his many outside interests, Caron was the obvious transition to new ownership. Caron took the business under her wing, added a fresh approach and renamed it Premier Events. Many other entertainment companies have come and gone over the years. With only a name change, ours has been a consistent presence in the industry.

How far in advance should I book entertainment?

While planning in advance affords you the most options, we have many qualified and skilled DJs and musicians and can usually accomodate even the most last minute requests. Many companies will have you believe that it is essential to book entertainment 1-2 years in advance. We don’t subscribe to high-pressure sales tactics. When a client comes to us with a request, we do our best to fill it, whether it’s a year down the road or tomorrow. It’s that simple.

How is your pricing structured?

Rates depend on several factors including the type and length of event, venue and number of guests. We don’t have a “one size fits all” approach to pricing. Each package is customized to meet the specific needs and budgets of our clients. You’ll find our rates to be both fair and competitive.

How big is your company?

Caron Wollard is the owner of Premier Events and the personal consultant for each client. In addition, we have over 60 professional musicians and entertainers who work with our company.

Can I meet with the DJ or Emcee prior to my event?

Of course! In fact, this is a good opportunity for the DJ to get to know you and your vision for your event. Since we customize our services for each event, a consultation is the best way to get a sense of your style and preferences.

Do you offer additional services?

Yes! We can provide lighting, lounge furniture, photo booths, video montage equipment and a host of other options to enhance the atmosphere of your event. Check out our full listing on our SPECIALTY ENTERTAINMENT page.

If my venue requests an insurance certificate, can you provide one?

Yes. We are fully insured and will be happy to furnish our certificate of liability upon request.

How does your staff dress for an event?

Musicians, DJs and Emcees will come to your event in attire that is appropriate for the occasion. Unless specified otherwise, they will arrive in jacket and tie.

Can I “drop in” on a party to see the MC or DJ in action?

Since we respect the privacy of our clients and their private bookings, we do not allow potential clients to attend other events. Additionally, we work very hard to find the right fit of entertainers with your style and event.
